Cookie Policy – Vokaro

1. Overview

Vokaro uses as few cookies as possible. Without your consent only technically necessary cookies and a language preference are in use. If you consent to the “Marketing” category, Vokaro loads Google AdSense advertising, and Google may set its own cookies for this. No analytics scripts or external media are embedded.

2. Necessary cookies

Sign-in and session cookies from our authentication provider Supabase (names starting with “sb-”) keep you signed in and protect the session. They are required for operation and cannot be switched off. These cookies are also set when signing in with Google; they are not marketing cookies.

3. Preference cookies

The “NEXT_LOCALE” cookie stores your language choice so the site appears in your preferred language. Lifetime: up to one year. It is used solely for language selection.

4. Marketing cookies (Google AdSense)

Only if you consent to the “Marketing” category does Vokaro load the Google AdSense advertising script (provider: Google Ireland Limited). Google may then set cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads, measure their performance and prevent abuse. Which cookies Google uses and how long they are kept is determined by Google: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies. Without your consent the script is not requested. After you withdraw consent the page reloads so the script does not keep running; cookies already set by Google can be deleted in your browser.

5. Local storage

In your browser's local storage we keep your cookie decision (“vokaro-cookie-consent”) plus some interface and draft data so your input is not lost. This data does not leave your device and is not used for advertising.

6. Change your consent

You can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Legal pages are always accessible without accepting cookies.
