Salaries

What Mallorca pays

This page estimates nothing. It shows the salary figures from the jobs currently advertised on Vokaro.

13 / 65

The basis is 65 published jobs, 13 of them with salary figures. What is shown is the lower end of each advertised range — that is the number that ends up in the contract, while the upper end depends on experience or performance. Behind every row is the number of listings it comes from.

The floor the law sets

Spain's minimum wage in 2026 is €1,221 gross a month, quoted over 14 payments — €17,094 a year. Spread over twelve months that is €1,424.50. This conversion is why advertised figures often look lower than they are: a listing saying “€1,300” usually means 14 payments.

Above the minimum sits the sector's collective agreement. In Balearic hospitality it is well above, and it is binding: a contract below the scale for your category is void, and you can claim the difference. Employee social security takes 6.50 % off gross pay (6.55 % on a fixed-term contract) — considerably less than in Germany or Austria.

How to read these figures

Low figures are usually part-time

A few monthly figures fall below the Spanish minimum wage. These are almost always part-time roles where the amount covers less than a full week. We do not filter them out, because that would make the range look better than the market is — the weekly hours are stated in each listing.

Hourly pay is not converted to monthly

Turning an hourly rate into a monthly salary requires a number of hours the listing does not state. That is why the two are kept apart — a converted figure would look more precise than it is.

Industries with fewer than three listings are omitted

A range built from a single listing is not a market value, it is one case. Those industries are left out entirely — better a gap than a number nobody can rely on.

The page does not go stale

There is no maintained table that someone touches once a year. The figures are recounted from the live listings — when a role is filled, it drops out.
