The season in Mallorca follows tourism: hotels, restaurants, beach clubs and excursion operators build their teams in spring and need them into the autumn. Hiring starts early accordingly — demand for seasonal roles rises noticeably from February. If you only start looking in June you will still find roles, but with less choice and less often with accommodation. This page shows only listings the employer itself marked as seasonal.
Fixed-term or fijo discontinuo
In Spain seasonal work often runs on a “fijo discontinuo” contract: permanent, but with breaks outside the season. The employer calls you back for the next season, and during the break you may be entitled to unemployment benefit. A fixed-term contract simply ends. Which contract is offered appears on the listing under contract type — ask if it only says “seasonal”.
